Terms of Service

Engage is a pilot independent software project. It offers two online products: Engage Decks at engagedecks.com, and Engage Posts at engageposts.com. Where these terms say “we”, they mean the operator of the project.

Sales are made through Dodo Payments as merchant of record: it is the official seller in the transaction and handles payment, tax, invoices and refund requests.

Accounts are opened by signing in with Google. You must be 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your access to it safe. An account is for one person, and sharing your sign-in may get it suspended.

Attending an Engage Decks session needs no account and has no age requirement. Anyone who joins with a code joins anonymously, and the presenter is responsible for their audience, including any minors present.

The free plan does not expire, and its limits are published on the plans page. Paid plans are a monthly or yearly subscription.

Advertised prices include tax, and a plan activates the moment payment succeeds. Your card number never reaches our servers and we never store it.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. Cancelling stops the renewal, not the plan: it keeps working until the last day you paid for. You can cancel at any time from Profile, then Manage subscription.

Payments are not refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise or Dodo Payments’ policy provides for it. If something went wrong with a payment, write to us within fourteen days and we will look into it.

If we change a price we will tell you at least thirty days ahead, and the change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Each plan has a monthly limit on videos, UGC ads or live sessions, depending on the product. Limits are published before purchase and reset at the start of each calendar month.

Every successful generation counts against the limit, including regenerations. An attempt that fails on our side does not count.

We may suspend an account whose usage harms the service or other users, after telling you.

What you upload, write or generate stays yours. We claim no ownership in it and take no perpetual licence to it.

By uploading it you give us a limited permission to process it solely to provide the service: to keep it where a feature requires that, and to send it to the processing providers named in the privacy policy. The permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not sell your content, we do not show it to anyone else, and we do not train any model on it. What providers do with what they receive is set out in the privacy policy.

You are responsible for having the right to what you upload: images, clips, voices, text and logos.

The presenter is responsible for what they ask their audience and for what appears on their screen. They can hide and delete contributions from inside the session, and we can remove anything that breaks these terms.

Contributions in a session are visible to the room, so do not ask an audience for sensitive data such as ID or card numbers or health information.

Both products use AI models from third-party providers: Engage Posts generates text, images, voice and video, and Engage Decks builds presentations and translates slides.

What a model produces may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate, and machine translation between Arabic and English can change the meaning. Review every output before presenting or publishing it. You alone are responsible for what you publish under your name.

A model may produce an output similar to someone else’s. We do not guarantee that what you generate is protectable by copyright where you live.

Publishing platforms have their own rules for AI content, some of which require disclosure. Complying with them is your responsibility. Do not remove any marking that shows content is AI-generated.

The UGC ad feature animates a photo of a person and has them speak your script. Its ready and generated faces are made with AI and belong to no real person.

Do not present a generated face as a real customer or a real testimonial for your product, and do not use it in a way that suggests its subject is ill or has done something unlawful.

Uploading a photo of a real person, uploading a voice recording, and voice cloning are available to organisation accounts only. Anyone using them undertakes that they hold free, written permission from every adult whose image or voice appears.

Not allowed: images or voices of minors, celebrities or public figures without their permission, political or election content, impersonating anyone, or attributing words to someone who never said them. Breaking this ends the account without refund.

If your image or voice appears in content made with our tool without your permission, write to hello@engageposts.com and we will treat it as a priority.

You may not use the service for anything unlawful where you are, nor for harassment or threats, hate speech, sexual content, or anything that harms children.

You may not use it for fraud or deception, false advertising or fake reviews, unlicensed medical, financial or legal claims, trademark impersonation, or misinformation about public health.

Technically, you may not attempt to bypass limits or access controls, resell the service or access it programmatically without our permission, or upload anything carrying malware.

We work to keep the service running and do not guarantee it will never be interrupted. It may stop for maintenance or because of a provider failure outside our control.

We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw a substantial feature your paid plan depends on, we will tell you beforehand.

You may stop using the service whenever you like, cancel your subscription from the payment portal, and ask us to delete your account.

We may suspend your account if you break these terms. For anything short of a serious breach we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

If we decide to close either product entirely, we will tell you thirty days ahead so you can download what you want to keep.

The service is provided as is and as available. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from your use of it.

In any case our liability will not exceed what you paid us in the twelve months before the event.

You are responsible for claims that arise from your content or from your breach of these terms.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your rights as a consumer where you live.

We may update these terms. A substantial change will be announced in the product or by email at least fourteen days before it takes effect.

If a change does not suit you, you can cancel your subscription before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
