Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026

This policy explains what we collect about you, why, who receives it, and how long it stays. It covers both Engage products: Engage Decks and Engage Posts. It describes what actually happens in the product, not what might happen one day.

1.Who is responsible for your data

Engage is a pilot independent software project, and its operator is responsible for account data. For anything about your privacy: hello@engageposts.com.

For audience answers in Engage Decks sessions, the presenter decides what is asked, and we process the answers only to run their session.

2.What we collect

Account data: your email, display name and user id, which reach us from signing in with Google. You can change the display name from Profile.

Subscription data: your plan, its status and renewal dates, and the transaction ids held by the payment provider. We never receive or store your card number.

Usage counters: how many videos, ads or sessions you used this month.

Your settings: your brand colours, logo and name, and your own templates and product context if you entered them.

Referral data: your referral code, how many people subscribed through it, and your reward if you earned one.

Where you came from: which link or campaign brought you, recorded once when your account is created so we know which channel works.

Your content: what you upload and write in order to generate, and your presentations and slides in Engage Decks.

3.Audience members in Engage Decks

Anyone joining a session with a code creates no account. We ask for neither their email nor their real name, and link them to no persistent identifier.

They join with an anonymous identity, may type a nickname that appears beside their contribution, and may contribute with no name at all if the presenter chooses that.

Their answers and votes are stored with the session, seen by the presenter, and may appear on screen in front of the room. So do not type personal information you would not want seen.

4.Faces and voices

A photo you upload for a UGC ad, a voice recording, and a sample for voice cloning are available to organisation accounts only.

They are used only to make the video you asked for. We do not use them to identify anyone, we do not store them on our servers, and we do not train any model on them.

They are sent to the motion or voice provider to fulfil the request, and how long that provider keeps them is set out below. A cloned voice stays with its provider until you delete it.

5.Why we collect it

To run the service: a feature cannot be delivered without processing what you upload.

To apply your plan and its limits, and to issue your invoices.

To prevent abuse and protect the service from being drained.

To understand which marketing channel works, and to improve the product. This measurement is aggregate, not individual.

To write to you about your account or your subscription.

6.What we do not keep

The videos and images you generate in Engage Posts are not stored on our servers. Every job writes to a temporary folder that is erased as soon as it ends, and the result is streamed straight to your browser. If you close the page before downloading, the result is gone.

The providers that carried out the job may keep a copy on their side for a limited time, set out below for each of them.

Your drafts and preferences in Engage Posts live in your own browser, not with us, except what a subscriber explicitly saves to their account.

7.Who receives any of your data

Google: sign-in. Your basic details reach us from it when you sign in with your account.

Hosting and database: in Europe. They hold your account, presentations, settings and live sessions.

Dodo Payments: sale, payment and invoicing. It receives your email and id to attach the payment to your account, and is the only party that sees your card.

AI text processing, translation and presentation building: the provider receives the text without your identity, does not use it to improve its models, and keeps it only in abuse-monitoring logs for up to thirty days.

AI face, voice and video generation: the provider receives your description, text and photo without your identity, does not use them to improve its models, and keeps them and the result for a few days before deleting them.

Voice cloning, for organisation accounts: the provider receives your voice sample, which stays with it for as long as the voice exists and is deleted when you delete it.

An exception: in the Engage Posts text tab some models run on a provider’s free tier, where the provider may use the text to improve its products and reviewers may read it after it is separated from your identity. So do not write personal or confidential information there.

Google Analytics: visit measurement. It measures pages and traffic source, not your content.

Microsoft Clarity: click and scroll heatmaps and session recordings, so we can see where visitors get stuck and improve the design. It masks what you type into fields, and it is not active on the Engage Decks audience join page.

Affonso: affiliate referral tracking. It sets a cookie for thirty days when you arrive from a partner’s link, so that your subscription is credited to that partner. It does not see your content, and it is not active on the Engage Decks audience join page.

A list of our providers by name is available on request at hello@engageposts.com.

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

8.Transfers outside your country

Our database and hosting are in Europe. The AI providers process what they receive in the United States and other regions. By using the service, some of your data is processed outside your country.

9.How long it stays

Your account, presentations and settings: for as long as your account exists. When you ask for deletion, we delete them within thirty days.

Audience answers: kept with the session until the presenter deletes the session or their account.

Subscription and payment records: for as long as accounting record-keeping requires.

Generated videos and images: never stored with us in the first place, and erased as soon as the job ends.

What providers keep: as set out above for each of them, with details in their own policies.

10.Your rights

Wherever you are, you may see your data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted or for a copy, and object to a particular processing.

Your core data is shown in Profile, you can change your name, brand and settings yourself, and you can delete your cloned voice with a button.

To delete your whole account or get a copy of your data, write to hello@engageposts.com and we will do it within thirty days.

You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country if you think we have not treated you fairly.

11.Cookies and local storage

One session cookie keeps you signed in.

Local storage in your browser holds your language, theme and drafts. None of it reaches us.

Google Analytics cookies, for visit measurement, Microsoft Clarity cookies, for interaction measurement, and an Affonso cookie that credits a referral if you arrived from a partner’s link.

We set no advertising cookies and take part in no cross-site tracking.

12.Children

Accounts are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect children’s data, and if we learn of a child’s account, we delete it.

Minors may attend Engage Decks sessions anonymously. The presenter is responsible for not asking them for personal information.

13.Protecting your data

Connections to the service are encrypted, and database access is governed by rules that stop one account reading another’s data.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you what we know and what we did, without delay.

14.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. A substantial change will be announced before it takes effect, and the last-updated date is written at the top of the page.

15.Contact
